Wonderful old house that has been renovated to have rooms to stay inside. 1 block to the beach. 2 blocks to main road down LBI. Several restaurants and stores within short walking distance. The owners are responsive and keep the place clean. They just added a pool in the past 2 years which is an awesome bonus! Check online for reservations.
This place was adorable. The hosts were super friendly and incredibly accommodating. They have bikes and a heated pool, and serve breakfast. We said it was like spending the night at grandma's house, such warm people and a great hotel. We stayed in room 2, which has a balcony.
Very fun and great building. The owners are extremely nice. Each room feels authentic and well kept. There is a nice in ground pool, area to lay out, and bikes to borrow. The porch is fun to relax on and talk to other guests. Couldn't recommend enough.
This was our second time staying at Victoria Guest House and it has become our favorite place down the shore. The rooms and accommodations are great, but what makes this place our favorite is the conveniences offered by John and Judy. Beach badges, great high quality beach chairs, bikes to take at your leisure, a pool to cool down at after a long day at the beach, and an amazing breakfast every morning. The BnB is about a 2 minute walk from a great part of the beach and there are a lot of great restaurants/bars within a mile from the house. John and Judy are great hosts, enjoyable company, and are always available for anything you need. Thank you both for the hospitality and we hope to be back soon!
The reviews say it all. John and Judy keep this BNB alive with outstanding service and accommodations. My wife and I had the chance to really learn about the business and the owners while we stayed this past week. It's an Americana story where hard work and caring for others pays off. They are CONSTANTLY working. It's one of the best experiences in LBI and as others mentioned, it's steps away from the beach. A great place for all ages, but maturity is required. Wonderful place. Great rooms, great food, bikes and beach chairs available. Has a 5ft to 3 ft deep pool in the back, great deck space on which to eat, chat, or just relax. A half block from the beach, beach passes are also furnished. John and Judy are great hosts. The rooms are clean, bright, cool and comfy. The bed was great, slept good every night. An overall charming place and a wonderful experience.
My husband and I stayed for a short two nights in the ocean cottage room. We absolutely loved it. The room was adorable and right next to the pool area. The bathroom was on the smaller side but that was ok. John and Judy were exceptional, always asking if we needed anything or how our day was. The breakfast was incredible and so relaxing to sit on the porch each morning to eat. The little touches made our stay and we can’t wait to come back!
We're repeat visitors to the Victoria Guest House and just returned from another lovely stay. Judy and John go out of their way to make sure your visit is comfortable. The breakfast is always great and offers something for everyone. Location is perfect - super short walk to the beach down the block and shops and restaurants are just around the corner. We used to stay at another establishment, but prefer the peaceful and relaxing experience of this B&B.
